Unwanted cycling of desktop icons

Unwanted cycling of desktop icons
W98 v4.10.1998
Dell Dim. XPSR450
Moving the cursor on the desktop causes the desktop icons to cycle through the <Name, Type, Size and Date> arrange options. When the customer aims for one specific icon it has moved by the time she gets the cursor there making it nearly impossible to land on the correct one.
Comments or suggestions will be greatefully appreciated.

You can go to pandasoftware.com and click on active scan to scan for viruses for free. It is up to date with the current anti-virus definition files and should find & destroy the virus fine and for free
