Updating the Android OS on a Sumtab brand Tablet

I have an Android Tablet under the brand Sumtab model K_101 PRO. I purchased it in October 2020 and it uses Android 9.0. What I notice is the battery for the past year drains faster than in the past and Android 9.0 may no longer receive security updates. When going to the Settings of the tablet is says the system is up to date. The brand has no website. Is there a way to upgrade the tablet to a more recent Android version?

No answer at the usual XDA site: https://xdaforums.com/t/sumtab-k101-pro.4677408/
As to the battery, they age and do that all the time. Nothing new there.

I agree with my fellow moderator. Don’t bother trying to update the existing tablet. I don’t know how large the display is on your current tablet, but I suggest that you check out the A or the higher end S series of the Samsung tab.
I recommend that it’s time to get a more up to date tablet that supports a higher version of the Android OS instead of attempting to solve the issue with existing tablet.

I did a little more research and determined that the Sumtab is manufactured for Amazon and all work (including warranty service) is done through them. While I never heard of the brand/model before, it is still sold under that brand name today by Amazon and they sell a newer version using Android 11 (or higher). There doesn’t appear to be an exclusive internet site. That may be helpful.
