I have PentiumIII mobo with 2 usb 1.1 ports in back and I added usb adapter panel that i put in one of the 5″ bays that brought 4 ports to the front of the computer. Works great. Question is: this person wants USB 2.0. I will add a 2.0 adapter in PCI slot which will put 2 ports in back. Can i still use the front panel and attach it to internal port connection on the 2.0 board? Or will the connection be slowed down for some reason? Do i have to have a front panel specifically made for usb 2.0?
