USB flash connectivity

By mauri_1848 ·
I installed a new w2k server sp4, all services are working fine (DHCP, DNS, PDC, etc), but for some weird reason, any workstation can't use memory flash drives... When I connect them, XP seems to recognize them, but the drive never shows up. I am wondering if there are some setting that I don?t know (probably a policy setting) that prevent stations to install new drives, or use flash drives. Does anyone know someone?

Did you format the Memory stick as a drive?

Most of them require a format prior to use.

I tried with different flash and pen drives. The problem is not on the USB devices.

It is not a flash's problem, because I try with 5 different kinds of flash memories and pen drives.

View the other link you put up it's got nothing to do with your equipment pen drives or anything.
