    Using Access point with Cisco 837 router

    I just got a Cisco 837 Router and i would like to connet my laptop to it using a wirless access point.Is this possible? If it is possible, can somebody help me with the configuration

      If you have Cisco 837 router with a wireless service, the short answer is “yes”.

      As I understand from your post, you have full access to the router. So, use a web interface to configure wireless piece. It’s very simple and intuitive. When you configure anything, write down on the paper all information you configured i.e. passwords, SSID, addresses, etc. – you will need it to configure your laptop.

      The cisco Router i have is not wireless enabled, but i would like to buy an access point. It this possible?
