Although the video card is installed with the latest driver from the manufacturer, it doesn’t seem to stay installed when the computer is shut down. Often when booting, it will have only 16 colors and I have to restart the computer to get the 16 or 32 bit color. Sometimes when booting, it says that it has detected new hardware and will install the driver for it, then installs the driver for the video card and invites me to reboot. It will be OK after rebooting but the next time I boot up, it will probably have only the 16 colors again. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
