I have a vista machine that connects to a SBS server 2003. The vpn connects and I can ping all over the place. When I try to connect to a share, it tells me it doesnt exist or user rights. I am using an account with domain admin rights and the share has domain admins under security and permissions. I have adjusted the properties on the vista vpn connection not to use remote gateway and statically assigned the dns and wins ip. Thanks in advance

I do not have the same/simular system as you, but i do have a VPN system in place. It is called "WallCooler" and you can down load it here: hope this helps you. Oh it is free to use.
Windows domain authentication uses UDP, which does not play well over a VPN since out-of-order packets or MTU size issues can lead to dropped packets. And with Kerberos, no-tickee=no-washee (some authentication humor).
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
