Hi. My client has problem with file permission between Windows 2003 server and VISTA. Usually, VISTA would be denied access to files in server, but what I encounter is, VISTA can access server’s files even its user is set “deny.” VISTA user is not an administrator, and it’s not a member of “Administrators” or even “users” groups in server.
The network is WORKGROUP. The server is a simple file server and has no active directly. The root folder “Share1” is shared and security permission is set allow “Everyone”
How do I configure so the VISTA user can’t open restricted files in server?
Thanks,
