My client has two seperate companies, two servers, two domains, and two Sharepoint 3.0.
These are two completely seperate Networks, his Vista desktop is setup with Network 1 logged into the domain all is fine, uses companyweb/default.aspx for sharepoint.
Trying to get to the other server, he uses a VPN to connect to the second server, then connects to the Network 2 sharepoint using serversp/default.aspx.
Works OK, but we have issues having to retype the username and password for Network 1
Is there a better way setting this up, we had Network 2 setup so he could access Sharepoint through the web, but this caused problems with having to log in all the time, and my client really wants to get Sharepoint internal only.
If someone can make sense of this I will be impressed….
