I am running ESXI 4.0 and trying to use a Mainpine PCIX fax card with pass-through setup on ESX. Under Configuration on the ESX server it recognizes it and I have the green icon next to it. Added it as a PCI device to my VM and now when I try to turn on my VM I get the following errors in the Events tab:
"PCIPassthru: PCI Memory mapped page (0xda1b4) is outside the PCI Hole range (0xc0000-0xfffff). Please add pciHole.start="3489" to the configuration file and then power on the VM."
"PCIPassthru: PCI Memory mapped page (0x1da1b2) is outside the PCI Hole range (0xc0000-0xfffff). Please add pciHole.start="7585" to the configuration file and then power on the VM"
I tried adding the requested lines to the config file in /etc/vmware and did not work.
Anyone come across this before or have any ideas?? I am in a time crunch with getting this up and running so any help is appreciated. Attachment of screenshots included.
Thanks,
Paige
