Will cat5 not 5e support voip at 100meg?

The cable isn't the only thing to consider here. You'll want to make sure of the QoS for the complete circuit, especially if you have to go over a public internet connection.

Much the same as a standard voice telephone call is allocated a small percentage of the remainder of bandwidth, after the computer is allocated the majority of available transmission.

Since you can have VoIP when using wireless access, it is quite normal to have VoIP in the 10 Mb/s band, let alone the 100 Mb/s.

As had already been said, the QoS will have the major effect on your capability.

120kbytes per second down and 120kbytes per second up for VOIP.
