VPN Access with Wireless Aircard to a Windows 2000 Terminal Server

by weigm . Updated 19 years, 1 month ago

I have a Dell Laptop that I am using a Sierra Wireless 860 to access the Internet with on Cingular’s network. I have a Sonicwall Global VPN client that I use to connect to an internal Windows 2000 Terminal Server and to a Lotus Notes server. The VPN connects fine, but when I try to access the Terminal Server it times out. Lotus Notes also will almost never connect. However, if I connect using a DSL line or the internal wireless on the laptop, I can connect with no problems. I can successfully connect to both the TS and Notes when I put the aircard in another Dell laptop. Can anyone give me suggestions about what could be the problem and how I could fix it? Thanks!
