I am going to attempt to create a VPN on my network, I Have multiple locations, and multiple setups. The one I care about setting up is my win2k3 server so I can backup my win2k server on it.
Right now I don’t have my main connection coming into my server. It goes into a access concentrator, and and router.
My server assigns my DHCP clients there IP addresses.
my server currently has a generic ip of
192.168.0.1
gateway 192.168.0.200 (cisco 1700 1720 router)
the server has a 2 NIC setup all ready, only 1 is active.
Do I need to change the wiring structure to get my server the outside IP address.
