Connecting to an external customer over VPN works fine, but just after connecting the PC slows to a crawl. Even opening the Start Menu takes a few minutes.
I have narrowed this down to a Windows domain issue, because when logged on to a local account on the same PC, everything works great. I have a feeling that this has to do with NTFS permissions and AD objects, but don’t know where to start troubleshooting. Any ideas?
FYI: Internet WAN connection is 100Mbps up/down, VPN software is Nortel Contivity Client OR AT&T VPN client.
