VPN from home to work

By bdusmanu ·
I have a XP at home, a RedHat 9 as router and firewall, and a Domain Controller with Windows 2000 Server. On it, i have 2 LAN adapters, one is configured as DHCP server, WINS server for entire network, and the second is not used.
I want to connect from home, and also from some other locations to the domain at work, passing the linux firewall.
What should i do?

try to configure it?

just a thought...

I mean if you installed ReadHat9 as your firewall router that means that you know how RedHat 9 works, so you ought to know how to configure it.

Check the traffic as if goes through FW, make changes

This should be easy. Obtain the VPN authorization details from your IT staff, and basically start testing.

Monitor the traffic through your firewall, see where it's being dropped, and modify your rules.
