VPN from work to home

By kfrost ·
I would like to be able to VPN to my home computer from work. How can I go about doing this?

I currently can VPN from home to work no problem. I just needed the IP address of my firewall and computer that I wanted to connect to and I was good to go. Is this the same method I would use?

A program called vnc, install it on your computer at home as server, install it again on your computer at work as client type ip address of your computer and there you have it you can now vpn to your machine at home.

Configure VNC

by kfrost In reply to VNC

I have VNC running on my home PC as the server. It's obtaining the IP address from my LinkSys Router. It's 192.168.x.x. I have my work computer as the viewer. As I suspected it's not seeing the VNC server because they are not on the same network. Any Suggestions?
