VPN local network access

By rsilvermann ·
I am trying to find a way to use a VPN while maintaining local network access. I currently use Steganos VPN, a third party VPN which doesn't allow split tunnelling.

I'm willing to go to another provider, or to set this up to work with two network cards.

Thank you in advance

microsoft VPN

by Jay217 In reply to VPN local network access

has the ability to do this.

Start -> control panel -> network connections -> create a new connection -> next -> Connect to the network at my workplace, next -> vpn, next -> fill in name, next -> set IP address -> next, next.

Once created you need to edit the properties of the vpn, so right click on the conneciton -> properties -> networking -> internet protocol (tcp/ip) -> properties -> advanced -> uncheck the use default gateway box, ok, ok, ok.

Here's an article that lists a few options. http://www.experts-exchange.com/Networking/Misc/Q_22122071.html
