VPN Tunnel Crashes

By mdlnet ·
Hello, my question is regarding VPN, I have 2 locations connected together via router to router VPN, Im using 2 Linksys RV082 routers, they have worked for few months, but just recently my VPN tunel just crashes every half hour, I went over the configuration many times, Im sure that is correct, so now Im suspecting something in my network is causing the tunnel to crash, I need some advice on what else could I check, what els could cause the tinnel to fail,,
thanks

not to be a wise guy, but if my network were fully patched and protected from viruses and spyware, i would swap in my spare linksys routers. if i didn't have any spares, i would use this as a reason to get at least one.
if it werent', i'd be sniffing for worm traffic and feeling nauseated and changing the admin password....
anything in event logs on router and servers
when you recover, how do you do it?
have you tried putting routers on ups

you need to load a network analyzer and capture some traffic and observe the graphs of critical values as your tunnel crashes. this will give us good hint to help you . ON THE PRETEXT that no conf parameter has changed . otherwise you have to run after trojans , run away processes or apps using up resources .

I recently had the same problem with 2 linksys AG241 routers and in the end with advice from tech support at linksys was to download and update the firmware on the routers and since then I have had no problem
