VPN user cannot access Sharepoint unless AD allows "All Computers" login

I have VPN user (Cisco Pix 506e / group authentication) that cannot connect to Sharepoint Intranet on the inside of the network once connected through VPN. His active directory account only allows him to log into the front-end exchange servers which works fine for Outlook Web Access.

When you access his Active Directory account and allow login to ALL computers, he can connect to the Intranet. I have specified the sharepoint server, the back-end SQL server for sharepoint, the DC all at once but even with these specified as computers he is allowed to log into, he cannot access the sharepoint Intranet. ONLY when I specify "all computers"

I also added the IP addresses of the above mentioned servers in attempts to get him to connect but no luck

any ideas?
