W2K Server backup and partitioning

by jneag . Updated 23 years, 5 months ago

Looking for a program(s) that will backup and REpartition a W2K server.

We just received a new Dell 6600 that will act as an online catalog for our libraries and as a data backup. With it coming preconfigured from Dell, they only allocated 4gig to C, which might normally be enough, but not in our case. It is now about 80% full. The D drive takes up the remaining 60 or so gig of space. (This is where our apps are installed and is far more than we will use.)

What I’m wanting is a program that can be scheduled to make a backup of all drives (OS drive as well) and put in on an empty 3rd HD. Since I don’t have a 3rd drive and C is almost out of room, I’m going to need repartitioning software as well.

So far I’ve been disappointed in my searches for the products that I’m looking for. PowerQuest was a program called V2i Protector that I’m trying to download to evaluate, but I’m going to need more than just one program. I’m needing a program that won’t break the budget either. Any suggestions?
