Hi there,
when I was trying to run Windows update on my Windows 2000 Server, it gave me an error (I forget the exact error) saying it wasn’t able to run it. It suggested that I make sure that the ‘Automatic Updates’ & ‘BITS’ services were started. I went to verify that these service were started and they were set to disabled. When I tried to enable them, the services.msc snap-in freezes and I have to end the task. Any ideas why this might be happening?
