W2k3 AD Server policies

By palazzini ·
60 client network with 2 windows 2000 domain controllers and a windows 2003 exchange server.
Can I make policies on the w2k3 server work on the domain even thought it is not the domain controller?

not if it's Active Directory Environment. The W2003 server is only a member server. you can create stuff on it [but why would you want to] however to implement it you have to use Active Directory.

CG IT is right. But what you can do, since you are obviously trying to get the expanded set of policies is to create the policy on your XP workstation. When you run MMC, you can add group policy editor which will allow you to add those policies to your 2000 server AD. When you click on group policy editor, by default it is looking at "Local". Change that to the 2000 server.
