I’m looking to find some ways to get to the bottom of network lag that’s being experienced from users logging in through a thinclient into a terminal services session. The server is running Win 2003.
The 40 or so users don’t do a whole lot on the computers. They only have access to MS Office products and IE. They’re mainly experiencing the lag when typing in Outlook or Word.
While connected, if I ping the thinclient machine, the time is typically at 1ms, not under (which I believe it should be).
What strategies/tools can I use to figure out what’s causing the issue?
