I have trouble connecting to my “yahoo” email account from work, I get a message from Sentian’s firewall stating that I cannot access the site, as webmail is blocked. The IT folks say that it is not blocked, and also other folks in the office can access their email. In addition, there are weeks that I can get on as well as, there being times that I can get on, but get kicked off after a while. The IT folks have basically, looked at it, shrugged their shoulders and said “I don’t know”. As they are most likely swamped with other more pressing issues, that answer probably means that they don’t have the time to give to resolve that issue. Any ideas as to what may be the problem?

Also, as I have no permission to do anything at the server level, I was just able to read off a screen that we are apprently running some version of WINNT.
