You may have heard of a virtual private network before but its definition can sometimes be confusing as it has multiple uses. A virtual private network – or VPN for short – is a way to keep information and traffic private even when using public Internet connections.

Personally, I find comfort in using a VPN network whenever I'm online. It's my most secure option.
