How can anyone suggest parts when we don’t know anything about the computer you have, what you want to fix/replace, what programs/applications you want to use?

For a new PC, at least the parts to reach the recommended system requirements of the most-demanding game you want to play. If you want to be future proof, and increase the likelyhood it will meet ithe recommended system requirements of the most-demanding games in 2027, buy more powerful parts.

This is 2024, you can build a PC for $700 or $5000, you need to have a specific budget in mind. If you’re going all out, I recommend Ryzen 7950x3D along with a 4090. And for mid-range PC, i7-13700K along with RTX 4070 Would do wonders. For budget builds, Ryzen 5600X with RX 6700 would do wonders.

The main thing besides the essential parts (like a motherboard, cpu, ssd, etc.), make sure to invest in a good GPU and a lot of RAM. This will make your games run smoother on better graphics.
