What SW does TechRepublic use to track p

By christophersw ·
Hello,

I am currently trying to improve our open source community site at elinux.com - I would like to implement "points" for "prizes" (company give aways) to encourage participation.

What sw does TechRepublic use to track "tech points" and are there any alternatives???

Thanks,
Chris

We allocate 15mb HD space for each user, but we set the client to download all messages to the desktop. We also have a 4mb attached files size.

Can't answer your question exactly, but I will tell you this. They use doubleclick.net and mediaplex.com to monitor your activity when you surff there site.

it's probably a simple trick with perl.
each time someone anwser a question, if the anwser is accepted, the perl code sees that the anwser has been accepted so it gives the point to the person whose anwser has been accepted.
