What's a good video card?

By srojas ·
Hi, does anybody have a suggestion for a plain, PCI video card? I mean 32MB RAM at most. I only feel comfortable with ATI Radeon but they are quite expensive. I just need something for my old pc clones.

It is going to be very hard to find new video cards with low amounts of RAM.

I suggest that you check some of the surplus sellers.

Even e-bay may be a source for low end PCI cards.

Keep in mind, that new PCI video cards are mainly made to replace on-board video for people who play games, and need better graphics capabilities.

Since the market for low end PCI video cards is virtually non-existent, it will be very hard to find anything other than the occasional close-out that will be inexpensive.

Thank you for the information. That's what I thought! not a big market for pci cards. I just didn't know if I was not searching in the right places or not. You have helped me a lot!
