I never recommend any free VPN. Because, many reports found that, free VPN providers logging users activities and selling these data for paying beer bills of their developers.

in my opinion, it depends on what kind of content you want to access. if you want to access a website that is not available in your area or country then you can access via Free VPN, you don’t need to pay heavy charges for paid VPN. For example, I own a firestick and if any app is not available in my country then i use these free VPNs (https://firestickapps.org/best-free-vpn-for-firestick/) to unblock it and there is no harm to use this.

If you are going to watch live streams or some illegal content then you can not trust a free VPN, you have to go for a paid VPN.
