Who competes with Corex?

By anejako ·
Dear All:

I'm trying to find a good business-card scanning solution for my supervisor. I see plenty of information about there for Corex's CardScan, and the technology looks pretty good. I don't see any information about a competing company to Corex, and I'm wondering whether there is any decent software/hardware out there that is competitive to CardScan! Does Corex have the market cornered, or what?

I just don't want to invest our group's money in CardScan only to find that there's a better product out there somewhere.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Who competes with Corex?

It does look like a pretty narrow field, based on the search I did. I found one company that will sell you software and an associated business card scanner. It's called EDT Business Card Reader and it's at
http://www.edtcard.com.

If you already have a TWAIN complaint scanner, there's a software-only solution called Presto! Bizcard at
http://www.digitalriver.com/dr/v2/Ec_Main.entry24?SP=10023&PN=1&V1=10843&xid=5793&search_id=780742&doc_id=2.

Hope this helps!

Thanks asyscokid.

CardScan looks like about the best thing going nowadays, so that's what we'll pick up.
