1. It’s not A.I. It’s generative LLMs which are known to make stuff up or outright hallucinate.

The ICT industry out of all industries, has one of the largest movements toward using generative AI within their work processes. So, I am interested in knowing what exactly it is being used for. I’m looking for responses from people who work in the industry, and their views about it. Obviously, programming is a common area for its use. But I am more interested in how it may be used in network engineering and cyber security. Though I’m also interested in programmer’s experiences and views about it.

generative AI is used in the ICT industry for tasks like automating code generation, data analysis, cybersecurity threat detection, and improving customer support with chatbots. some rely on it daily. Its reliability depends on the task and how well it’s integrated into workflows.
