Why does an XP reboot corrupt my network adapter?

by csillery . Updated 16 years, 8 months ago

Whenever I reboot or start my machine up for the day, I have to disable and enable my network adapter in order to get it to work. I have tried 2 different adapters, and it still does it. Oddly, also, if I leave the machine alone for several hours, I have to do the same thing to connect as well.
