why does my pc,either dump out,or reboot in the middle of surfing,gaming?i have sufficent ram,but sometimes when gaming i get the general fault protection error couldn’t read memory.while surfing,it just reboots. i have a brand new 256 simm in my machine in the first slot.w2k os amd xp 1700+ chip FIC motherboard,40 gig hd primary and 120 gig hd slave. also explorer is giving me trouble with errors, i have all the updates and i usually send the error report to windows.whats causing this crap to happen?
