Win Server 2003

By nhoek ·
We have two Win 2003 Servers running Citrix and load ballancing each other. From time to time we find that one of the servers reboots for no reason. Check the event viewer and nothing there to pin point what is going on.

Anyone else had to trouble shoot somthing of this nature? And if so how did you tackle it ?

Check your event log in the BIOS, it may be a temprature issue.

One thing you could try is to disable the automatic reboot after a system failure (my computer\properties\advanced\startup and recovery)
If it is a blue screen problem you'd be able to watch what happens.
If that doesn't work, it is most likely a hardware issue (see comment above) and you might have to resort to some of the hardware tools provided by your server hardware vendor.
