My problem is that When I run the setup on my pc, windows xp hangs at the starting windows xp screen prior to selecting the hard drive to install to. I have tried swapping hard drives and cables. The jumper settings are correct on the hard drive. What could be the problem. I believe it maybe a faulty motherboard. The bios locates the hard drive properly.
