I recently upgraded a PC from Win ME to XP prof. on a SBS 4.5 server. Everything was going fine until the PC asked me to change my password. Since then I hae not been able to figure out how to get my computer to get on the internet and recieve e-mail using Outlook Express through the proxy server.
I am getting a different login screen now and I’ve tried to do a couple of things like reinstall the proxy client and even change the user name and computer to get a fresh start. My question is how to a get back to the old login screen (the one with the picture icon).
I created a Network user ID through XP. It lets me on the network but I cannot get on the internet or use e-mail. When I try internet explorer I am getting this message:
-2146893055 (0x80090301)
on the browser screen. If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be helpful.
