I am having a strange problem where I am logged into my profile on 2003 server from Xp but I need the machine to be logged in all the time. Whenever the machine is left inactive for a period of time, e.g. overnight, I loose connection to the server.
When I return to the machine, it is still logged in but there is a popup asking for the administrator password. I enter this but it does nothing and I cannot access anything on the server. The only way around this is to reboot.
Can anyone advise what this problem is and how I can get round it. (I have already disabled all group policy & power management settings/screensavers etc but it still looses connection).
