Win2KPro, notebook, stand alone:
While reinstalling a copy of ACT, I can no longer get it to install properly. I get an error to start server (lanman) before conrinuing.
This WAS on a network at one time, Novell, but now is a stand alaone. I am thinking the registry key needs to have the correct value added so it start on boot.
MSCONFIG shows me the startup process for SERVER as being STOPPED, but there is no available action (within MSCONFIG) to restart it.
Is there a Network protocol change or a registry change?? I have scoured, googled/deja’d andcan’t find squat.
Any ideas?
