When I shutdown Windows 2000, everything closes but the computer keeps running with a black screen and a flashing cursor in the top right hand corner. Having had to re-install the operating system on several occasions I have noticed that the this behaviour seems to start after I have installed a HP Colorado Tape Drive. I have tried un-installing the tape drive but the problem persists.
Any advice appreciated.
