HELP!!!
I have a situation where there are two DC’s one is running Win 2003 X64 SP2 the other Win2003 (32 Bit) SP1.
What is happening is for whatever reason we have the local domain in the DNS and they are active directory integrated with secure updates only turned on.
Out of the blue the listed Primary Server will be server1.domain.com on one DC and the other DC will show server2.domain.com.
This is causing directory service under event viewer to display replication errors with event 1083 and 1955. This then leads to users being locked out of the domain?? I change the dNS to point the primary to the one server and those errors stop. Later on it changes after an update to the DNS. And those errors and lockouts happen.
