I am configuring a Dell Optiplex as a Windows NT 4 BDC. This domain has a PDC and a BDC already established and both are Windows NT 4. This will be the second BDC in the domain. When I try and join it to the domain, it does not recognize the domain.
I have tried using an LMhost file with the PDC name and IP address written in the correct syntax and the correct number of spaces, but this didn’t help.
I have tried the basics..no apparent TCP/IP issues, correct network settings…any other suggestions?
