Windows Remote Printing through a NetMotion VPN

by idmnipster2 . Updated 16 years, 7 months ago

Gentlemen: I have a NetMotion XE VPN services running with failover, between internal network servers and mobile laptops. Question – When I attempt to print from the mobile units via a tCP/IP port created on the laptop, printing sometimes fails, without me knowing who is sending the print job. If I use a shared printer created on the server, communication is sluggish. Does anyone know of a good windows solutions for buffering the print job, before submission to the network printer? I would also like to manage the queues. Thank you.
