I have been trying to get Folder Redirection working, so I followed the Microsoft Tech support’s instructions (online stuff, no phone calls). I played with it until I was fully exasperated. I have accessed the Group Policy Editor by right-clicking the domain on the Domain Users and Groups screen and going to properties. I tried to create a policy set and had no luck, so I went on to edit the default domain policy (I know, I will likely regret that). I wondered if maybe the group policy wasn’t getting passed on to the computers or profiles it was supposed to be controlling, so I added some Internet Explorer policies to test it. None of these came through (I tried something obvious like controlling the homepage and adding some favorites). How do I get the group policy to propagate to the new computer?
