In my school lab I have a Dell Poweredge 840 server out of warranty with 12 clients that are currently workgrouped as the server needs a reinstall. The school has no reinstallation disk for the server and there is no serial key on the server so I would like to know what my options are? I am under pressure to get the server working for this semester. Also last year another teacher had this lab and all students were given administrative access and as a result half of the pc’s were inaccessible due to spyware/viruses. So I took am image of one of the good PC’s and used SYSprep to fix the 6 affected PC’s. The problem now,is when the 6 PC’s reboot, the license key is asked for but the license I enter off each pc is not working. I would appreciate it if any of you experts could help me out here??
