Howdy,
I have a Windows 2003 Print Server with a Ricoh Printer setup on it and the printer listed in Active Directory.
On the printer defaults on the server I have set it to be duplex.
Our XP users browse and add the printer to their machine and it picks up the duplex setting as standard.
However if an XP user changes the setting on their local PC and moves it to single sided then that remains on their PC.
Even though they log off, reboot etc it still remembers single sided for that printer.
Is there anyway to “force” the double sided option out from the server so that every time they log on to the network it flips back to double sided as a default?
We’re trying to save paper costs!
Thanks in advance.
