Windows XP Home with Win SBS2003

Can my Windows XP Home access Windows SBS2003.I knew that Win SBS 2003 setup A.D by default.

If you have to log into a domain, no go. Upgrade to WinXP Pro, you'll thank yourself for it in the long run. (Can't believe I just advocated WInXP !)

And HP Home can't be a member of a domain. You need XP Professional.

what if i just wants WinSBS 2003 act as a file server.I just map into the share folder on the SBS server and keying an administrator username and password

You can do as you outlined, map a drive to the shared folder on the sbs 2003 server from the xp home computers using credentials you created on the SBS 2003 server. It gets tedious to keep up w/ passwords and password changes w/ a lot of pc's in this sort of setup, but one or two won't matter.
