Does anyone have the link at M$ for XP SP1a and SP2?
Lately I have been seeing a rash of Windows boxes With XP that have not even been updated to XP SP1. Unfortunately, some of my diagnostic software will not run under less than SP2. Rather than having to DL the SP’s individually with the Windows update, I would rather have them on a flash drive to install as needed.
For those who are wondering, yes I looked on the Microsoft site, but could not find the two service packs, and equally unfortunately, they seem to have to be installed in sequence.
I believe also that when a machine leaves the shop, it should be, and is, fully updated and has antivirus software installed. For the SB, I personally return the machine and correct any problems that may occur with their networks that does not involve redesign. With this philosophy, the only returns I have seen is when someone decides to remove the AV.
To redigest, I am looking for the links to M$ SP1a and SP2 with the administrative options. Can someone please guide me?
