Windows2000 Networking

By STS-man ·
I just upgraded a Netfinity 3000 server to Windows 2000 Pro. I have an IBM Thinkpad on the network with the same. Both are fine but I have one workstation still running
Windows98. I cannot get the workstation to connect now with the network. Has anyone seen compatability problems with the 2? All three are ID'd WORKGROUP and all have IP addresses in sequence.

Did you create a computer account in the server for this machine - active directory.

You don't have IP address from different subnets.

There are no known compatibity problems.

good luck
