WINNT window in boot up

Every time I boot up my Win2K PC, the window WINNT shows on my desktop, any help to fix that?? Thanks

See the following article:

Use Registry Editor to view the following two Windows registry keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Verify that all the values in these keys do not contain any incorrect, incomplete, or null entries (such as "").

at a very basic level, check that your start up directory hasn't got a short cut to the winnt directory in it.... it may have been a link to an old that's been uninstalled since, and the link's been redirected.

If you are referring to an explorer window with the WINT directory this is normal response from Mcafee AV ver6.
