Wireless Networks

Does anyone have any tips or suggestions on wireless networks. I have the new Linksys G router with speed booster. The workstations use the G adapter. HI'm having a lot if intermeittent connections.

Check your network connections for any bridges. IE, you LAN adapter might be bridged with wireless adapter or a 1394 connection if you have it. Disable the bridge then delete it.

You can try obtaining the new firmware for your router\booster if it has one. Also both the router and booster should be g models not g mixed with b. And same manufacturer.

I would suggest that you check your router settings and make sure that you have WEP enabled. Additionally I would suggest that you ensure that router and your nic's are not trying to auto negotiate bandwidth. Meaning set them to either full duplex or half duplex. I know intermittent signals are an issue with Netgear Wireless routers if you do not set it one way or the other.
